What's new with Jade Platform

Jade has undergone some major changes, including the appointment of our new CEO, Justin Mercer, and the retirement of our Chief Innovation Officer and Jade vanguard, John Ascroft as well as long-serving Senior Software Engineer, Martin Jagers. We're also excited to introduce you to our three talented new hires.

We want to take this opportunity to remind you JADE 2022 SP1 is coming out soon so be sure to keep an eye on your inboxes for the announcement.

That's a wrap! Another epic JUG

We had a fantastic time at this year's JUG conference in March held once again in Auckland at the AUT City Campus. We were thrilled to see so many of our customers and to have the opportunity to share insights and best practices with them.

A big shout-out to our amazing presenters, Julian Downs (TSB), John Beaufoy and Kevin Saul (NWI), Marie Hill (DB Cargo), and our keynote Denis Andzakovic (Pulse Security) who shared their expertise and made the event so engaging and informative. Thank you for taking the time to prepare and deliver such valuable content.

We're already looking forward to the next JUG conference - ideas are already swirling. Stay tuned for updates on all our upcoming events for more fun and excitement.

Massive news!

We have some significant people changes to announce!

Best wishes to our retirees!

First, we would like to announce the retirement of John Ascroft. As many of you know, John has been around since the very beginning and was instrumental in the conception of the Jade Platform. John has been an invaluable member of Jade Software’s senior leadership, and we are incredibly grateful for his expertise, guidance and dedication. John's contributions have had a lasting impact on our company, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.

We also wish a happy retirement to Martin Jagers, a long-term member of our staff. Martin has been an integral part of our team for many years, and we are grateful for his many contributions. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

CEO News

We are pleased to announce the appointment of our new CEO,
Justin Mercer. Previously Director of Customer, he has been with the company for over 10 years. Justin brings a wealth of experience to the role and will enable us to continue providing you with innovative solutions and services.

New members of the team

In addition to Justin, we are also excited to welcome three new members to the Jade Platform team. We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Andy Todd as our new Jade Platform Business Lead at Jade Software. With an impressive track record of success and a wealth of experience in product design and management, Andy is primed to lead our team to even greater heights.

Patrick Pritchard has also joined us as our new Product Owner. Patrick's skills in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), OpenAI, Linux, and Oracle Database, will assist us in delivering products that will exceed expectations.

Lastly, we welcome Sean Moir who started his Jade journey early last year as a software engineer. Recently he's joined the Jade Platform Engineering team, and already his skill and great work ethic have proven him an asset to the team.
